THE REPRESENTATION AND THE MEANING OF SYMBOLS
PHARAO
An Egyptian King
The existence of Pharao was explained in Holly Bible as well.
EGG TIMER
There are two egg timers.
The left egg timer shown a fully egg timer which still trickling down, whereas the other hand shown us empty egg timer,
means all sands was transferred in to the bottom
(the left egg timer which full of sands describes the glut condition, whereas the empty egg timer describe the famine or shortage of food condition)
COMPASS
The compass (used to form circles) represent spirit. It is the Masonic symbol that also represents The God as the creator of the universe
7 GRAINS (VIOLET COLOR)
The 7 grains in the left side has growth direction to the right and 7 grains in the right side has growth direction to the left. Each side has opposite growth direction.
(Right direction describes the abundant resources, whereas the left direction is the shortage resources)
5 GRAINS (RED COLOR)
The 5 grains in the left side and 5 in other side
12 GRAINS
The 12 grains represent the number of months in a year.
It can also represent the annual or annuity, because the ”Algemeene Maatschappij van Levensverzekering en Lijfrente” was the company of life insurance and annuities.

on the representation and the meaning of symbols above, we try to
decode the Jan’s message, of course the message was ordered by the
company itself.
See the Bible, Genesis:41 (about Pharaoh’s dreams). Broadly speaking, according Pharao’s dreams, there are seven years of glut and full of food. After then, there are seven years of famine disaster or shortage of food.
It means the message for us that when we have a wealth and plentiful of resources, better if we store it for precautionary rather than spend it all. Because the future is uncertainty, we should prepare it through save the buying power for tomorrow.
In addition, the mosaic told us that we should protect our wealth and our life with the insurance because the uncertainty in future.
